This training will help you begin the process of changing the way you think about the poor as well as the way you have been helping them, yet hurting them. This no doubt has led to the poor more dependent on the world and less dependent on GOD, and has prevented them from FLOURISHING. Sadly, we have caused this great epidemic by becoming a paternalistic society of enablers, so let’s change that. Join us as we learn together how to become wonderful Ally’s!

"90 Minutes in Heaven" Author In Jax

    7:00 pm-9:00 pm
    11-17-2017
    51-99 20th Ave N, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250, USA

First Christian Church of the Beaches in Neptune Beach will be hosting Don & Eva Piper on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 7pm. Admission will be free, love offerings will be accepted.

Don Piper is a dynamic speaker and the author of New York Times bestseller, 90 Minutes in Heaven – a True Story of Death and Life. For the past thirty years, he has traveled across the country and around the world sharing his message of hope and healing.

In 1989, Don was on his way back from a church conference when an 18-wheeler struck his Ford Escort head on. He was killed instantly – pronounced dead by four sets of EMTs. Shortly after the accident, a pastor from the same conference arrived on the scene and began praying for “the man in the red car.” God worked a miracle and sent Don back to a broken body. To date, 34 surgical procedures have taken place. He walks only as a result of miraculous and in some cases medically unexplainable circumstances. During the time he was dead, Piper was granted the extreme privilege of glimpsing Heaven itself.

Eva Piper has inspired audiences with her testimony of walking her hurting loved ones through a dark night and surviving to see a sunrise not just bright but much more beautiful because of the journey. The wife of best-selling author Don Piper, Eva was the glue that held her broken husband and her family together. In fact, today Don calls her the “real hero” of their ordeal.

Come hear Don & Eva speak at First Christian Church of the Beaches on November 17th at 7:00PM. It will be an experience you will never forget. Admission is free, love offerings will be accepted.
